There is a vacancy in a KPO of a foreign Bank for a Team Manager for the Equity Financial Products Group.The offerings of the Group globally are:

Institutional Equity Derivatives Business:
Includes option strategies, arbitrage and technical and fundamental analysis, and dealers in single stock and index options. The products include:
· Equity derivatives products
· Equity derivatives sales and trading
· Equity derivatives strategy
· Convertible bond secondary trading

Prime Brokerage Business:
The key prime brokerage offerings include:
· Capital accounting
· Capital introduction
· Clearance, settlement, and custody
· Financing and synthetic prime brokerage
· Reporting
· Risk?based margin products
· Securities lending
· Technology and custom IT solutions


Job Overview The Team Manager in Mumbai will supervise and manage the EFP team in India. Responsibilities will include:
· Hiring, on-boarding and training team in India
· Managing team members
· Liaising with EFP senior management on group responsibilities
· Reporting and metrics

The Team Manager will be responsible for management around three key areas of focus:
· Institutional Derivatives: Initial derivatives activities include private wealth sales reports, frequent updating of institutional sales reports, graphs and spreadsheets and organizing basic customer information
· Prime Brokerage: Initial prime brokerage activities include reviewing client reports and resolving client account issues ahead of the US time zone; review and verify risk reports for validation or discrepancy explanation. There will also be an initiative to analyze client data in general for business analysis and combine that with researched competitor and industry intelligence collected by the India team.
· Quantitative Analysis: Current plans include a future build-out of a quantitative analysis team in India to complement the activities of the current team in New York.

The Team Manager?s long-term prospects within the organization will include the opportunity to join our New York or London offices.


Key Qualifications Background:

MBA from top tier institution
At least 3 years management experience in financial industry
Understanding of derivatives and equity financial products
Knowledge of statistics, data series and correlation analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Skills and Characteristics:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing teams of people
Able to demonstrate leadership, take initiative, strong work ethic and team focus
Attention to detail
