He/ she will be a pivotal marketing link between the Horizontal
(technology) and the rest of the business development
organization.
He/ she should be in a position to comprehend the horizontal
solution offerings specific to each of our verticals and package/
push it through the different Marketing channels like collaterals,
events, campaigns, direct mailers etc?
Work very closely with the Horizontal leadership team and with
the vertical marketing representatives' onsite to design, develop
and execute marketing activities.
Taking inputs from sales, sales support group, horizontals to
plan strategies/ roadmap for year long marketing activities for the
horizontal managed.
Constantly analyzing our position in market, competition and
preparation of appropriate game plans for the aligned horizontal.
Have the ability to validate standards, communication and content
and suggest changes wherever required.

Desired Profile

He/ she should be a self starter and a self motivated person,
willing to drive service levels beyond expectations.
High motivation levels and result oriented. Should have the
ability to think on their own and manage initiatives w/o being
directed or pushed.
MBA in marketing from tier 1 or 2 business schools with minimum 6
years of experience in the field of sales/marketing/pre-sales of
software products & services.
Understanding of IT services (especially horizontal solutions
like CRM, ERP, BPO is essential).
Should possess excellent communication (verbal and written)&
inter-personal skills. They should be in a position to validate
communication, content and suggest strategic changes in brand
messaging.
Persuasion skills to be able to influence direction of planned
programs and products.
Top notch writing skills, with the ability to assimilate
information from multiple sources. Business skills combined with a
conceptual understanding of the sales and marketing is essential.
Work on flexible time (will work India time) to coordinate with
onsite when required and not be rigid.
Ability to influence people with their ideas and suggestions.
Good personality (not being specific here..).

Compensation

Not a bar for the best candidate but we will have a range of Rs.7-
9 lac

To work out of Chennai only.
Work to IST hours.
