business from scratch.
Position Description:
Responsible for heading the marketing of a new range of lifestyle
products aimed at women. To develop the business and marketing plan
and thereafter review and direct its implementation. Initially steer
consumer understanding through market research, incorporating insights
from the research analysis into the marketing plans. To identify
specific business opportunities such as niches within the segment/s
and successfully manage new products with a view to ensure maximizing
volumes sales and profit contribution. Drive decisions on the entire
business ? product development, product mix, pricing, brand
architecture, supply chain, distribution, advertising and promotions.
Producing and implementing, in combination with the S&D function,
integrated and affordable brand marketing plans, which deliver
increasing brand acceptance, market share and brand strength in the
chosen consumer segments.
Hiring Profile:
Top tier MBA with a background of 8 ?10 years in lifestyle / premium
fmcg / apparel /durables marketing. Prior experience in leading
launch of products aimed at women mandatory. A committed,
entrepreneurial, business focussed, approach. Aware of and interested
in trends and media opportunities in the fashion and lifestyle
business. Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills as
well as conceptual, planning, and decision-making skills. Should be
able to take charge of her/ his role and own brands and people.
