HSBC is looking for 2002-2004 batch pass outs for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Assistant Manger Business Planning
DEPARTMENT: PCM (Payments and Cash Management)
I. Brief background of the job:
In line with the group?s strategic plan and the strategic plan of the commercial bank in India, PCM is viewed as the key driver of improved profitability and growth for the business in India. PCM sales is expected to contribute to this growth by increasing the market share of PCM in India.
The AM Business Planning will be based out of Mumbai and report to the Manager Business Planning.
II. The role requires:
· Identify suitable Sales Analytics processes and tools and generate required reports to update management on sales performance of Cash Management business in India. This would entail partnering with the Sales Head, Regional Sector Heads and Sales Specialists on an on-going basis to understand the market, collect information and analyze the data to provide value-added MIS to facilitate planning.
· Create measurement metrics in discussion with Unit Heads within PCM, track and monitor performance vs targets.
· Prepare required presentations for all Business Review Meetings on a weekly and monthly basis and Area Operating Plan along with Manager Business Planning annually. Execute all actionables identified in these meetings.
· Plan and execute special projects to be driven by the business planning team.
· Review all audit recommendations and follow-up to ensure that action has been taken.
III. Experience and Capability Requirements
§ MBA from a premier B school / Chartered Accountant
§ 2-4 years of experience in a analytics/business planning role
§ Basic understanding of sales processes and analytic tools.
§ Strong IT skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
