To ensure least inventory holding cost

Logistic Management

To ensure least logistic cost is occurred in
distribution of Gold Coin in the market

Maintain relationship with logistic partners – Group
4, Brinks Arya etc.

Analysis the branches holding stock beyond x days and
move the stock to branches which are exhausting the
stock fast



Sales Coordination

Coordinate sales with Sales Team

Setting up of sale target based on market demand, past
sales and growth rate

Tie up with third party partner's like cooperative
banks, tanishq etc.

Support Sales with timely MIS on achievement vis a vis
their target

Ensure that sales team has adequate point of sales –
leaflets, posters, and banners.



Technical Training

Train sales team on usage of Inventory software

Enhance the features of Inventory Software to support
sales

Market Intelligence & Updating the same.



Market Intelligence and Demand Analysis

Track the gold consumption in India

Estimate Demand Pattern from various places

Analysis gold price movement internationally

Track the competition and their offerings, their sales

Based on market, develop value added features for e.g. Buy Gold and enjoy x% discount on making charges with Tanishq

One should have experience in Sales/distribution or Channel Mgt for 6 -8 yrs at least 1-2 yrs of experience managing Gold.
