We are currently seeking a Deputy / Assistant Manager, Human Resource on behalf of our Client.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to the Director, Human Resources for executing human resources strategy and monitoring human resource issues for India.
Responsible for establishing a partnership with line management and Sales division personnel to direct operational responsibilities including internal and external employment activities of exempt and non exempt salaried individuals, human resource information systems, compensation program design/administration, benefits counseling, succession planning, employee relations, and training.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Plans, implements, and administers the employee relations programs to include wage and salary administration, employee communications, management development, benefits, employment, placement, training, employee counseling, health, safety, and employee services.
2.Counsels and advises managers and supervisors in matters relating to personnel problems and interpretation of company policies and procedures. Assist managers of international operations in formulating policies, employee development, recruiting, and employee relations.
3.In conjunction with management, assists to plan and formulate long and short range human resource objectives and goals, operating and employee relations policies and programs. Responsible for coordinating and implementing human resource programs effectively.
4.Manage the company-wide College Relations/Recruiting function. Ensure that all business units needs are met in staffing a diverse pool of entry level talent. Anticipate, research, and implement new initiatives in College Relations to maintain a competitive market position. Direct the implementation of a company-wide co-op/intern program.
5.Manage the activities of the Sales Group (Sales and Project) Affirmative Action/Diversity program. Proactively plan, monitor, and implement programs and initiatives to attract and retain a diverse applicant pool. Recommend high potential women and minorities for management positions. Deliver diversity awareness training to field employees.
6.Develop and manage annual operating budgets. Direct the preparation and management of manpower planning requirements for all the Group. Assure that headcount requirements per the Company's Annual Operating Plan are monitored and managed to plan. Recommend and consult with management on position types and timing for manpower additions and placement.
7.Facilitate staffing to ensure clear technical, organizational and competitive competencies are identified for present and future success.
8.Identify, develop and track key individuals in support of the company's succession plans. Provide pertinent input to organizational development and productivity improvement.
9.Ensure that changes in the external business conditions are reflected and integrated into staffing, rewards, communications, and development.
10.Manage administration of operating procedures, record systems, and the preparation of periodic reports and summaries to keep management apprised of activities.
11. Through contact with educational institutions, attending seminars and memberships in professional societies and organizations, keeps abreast of new developments critical to the function. Foster and communicate a favorable company image while dealing with the public and agencies such as, but not limited to, executive search firms, advertising agencies and educational institutions on a regular basis.
12.Provide counsel to all levels of salaried employees regarding performance, human resource staffing, and career development in the Group.
13.Provide orientation to ensure new employees are systematically introduced to the business, culture and specific expectations.
14.Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.

EDUCATION:
Masters Degree in human resource management, business, industrial relations or industrial psychology curriculum.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum Five years of human resource experience. Should have minimum three years of managing professional human resource staff.

PERSONS SUPERVISED:
Responsible for direct supervision of two professionals and one clerical.
