One of the World's Largest Multi National Pharma - Agri Business Corporation, well known for its innovative management practices, products and services is looking for a "Head of Human Resources" to be positioned in the western region

Placement: To be based in the western region

Core Purpose of the Job
Recruitment and Selection particularly from the Campuses in India and overseas (US/UK Returnees)
Liaise with Global HR to understand, internalize & implement the management vision of desired organizational strategy & performance.
Manage an employee population consisting of Scientists, Ph D and Post Doctoral fellow, Chemists
Enable HR Strategy Creation & execution in consonance with Global & India Corporate HR, including building HR best practices in functional areas particularly in coaching, mentoring, performance management and talent retention
Develop & deliver organizational talent management process
Competency based initiatives including Competency Based Human Resources Management Practices, Assessment & Development Centers
Compensation & Benefits Administration
Enable performance management through a combination of competency based performance measures
Design and manage the employee communication process
Implement global standards and benchmarks in HR Practices established by the Corporation
Collaborate with IT to automate human resources - 360 degree Feedback mechanism
Conduct periodic internal & external surveys to support creation of a performing climate - Recruitment, Rewards, Retention and Relations

Candidate Profile
Candidates with an inclination to learn & contribute in a world class environment with relevant HR experience of about 8 to 12 years plus would be appropriate with a professional qualification in HRM. Those with lesser years of experience may also apply for postings in Bombay & other locations in India
