VSNL Looking for HR Openings

VSNL has recently taken over assets(undersea cable and landing
stations) of a company called Tyco Global Networks which is based in
USA out of NJ. They are looking for an HR professional who will be
an American citizen who can help in the integration process.
Employees are spread across multiple geographies.

There are totally 186 employees, with US having 110, UK 25, the rest
in Germany, Netherland, Spain, Japan, Portugal, Singapore. The
immediate requirement to work out a compensation and benefit plan
for the 186 which is equal to what they get. These persons will be
on the rolls of one of VSNL's international bodies.

We are looking for a person who may be willing to work on this on a
contractual basis for 6 months. Since the immediate job is more
complex we may need someone with good experience in the M&A area of
HR.

VSNL will be looking at two profiles - one for a person who will
work as a consultant for around 6 months. This person may need to
have 12-15 years of work experience, especially in the M&A area.
Second will be a full time assignment for a relatively less
experienced person who will run the HR function in the US for the
VSNL arm that takes over the TGN assets.
