Level - 5

Position Description:
As a part of a project team the consultant will be required to deliver on projects involving significant client interface. The consultant will be required to understand their business needs and apply technical expertise to find the best solutions. She/He will be required to manage and expand business relationships and develop prospects into clients.

Responsibilities
oProvide support to the practice area in delivering projects to Mercer standards and to the desired level of client satisfaction
o Proactively and innovatively design work steps and approaches to
address client problems and requirements
oManage tasks within the assigned time and budget keeping the Project
Manager informed of the progress
oAssist in practice and business development through lead generation,
proposal writing, preparing and delivering presentations etc
oManage various client interactions independently as per Mercer standards
oManage financial parameters of the project

Requirements:
Education: Post Graduate in Human Resources from a premier institute.
Candidates having management degrees other than in HR but interested to work in HR consulting may also be likely candidates

Experience: Approximate years of experience: 3-5 years in Industry/ Consulting. Exposure to Human Resource practices and systems would be essential. Candidates having experience in the field of SAP- HR – either as a user or as a functional consultant ) would be desirable. (At least one profile would have to have SAP-HR experience.

Skills and Knowledge:
oProficiency in power point and spreadsheets is essential.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills
oConceptual / analytical skills and attention to detail
oAbility to work in unstructured environments
oInternal locus of control
oAbility to work independently and across multiple assignments
oTeam working skills
oAbility to handle clients at a senior level
