Company: A leading MNC Pharma co. is setting up amn offshore processing and development organization in India.
Profile: S[h]e would have about 10 years of well-rounded generalist HR experience in an MNC or good Indian company. Should be well versed in overall human resources programs and processes, and practice HR as a business partner rather than as a support function.

Tasks: Setup a consistent HR Policy and implement effectively within the GS India organization; Help to create and lead a high profile, high caliber organisation; Performance management systems; Compensation & benefits; legal issues; Defining values and percolating the values and work culture to the employees; Recruitment, global career planning; Identifying training needs and implementing training programs.

Attributes: Very process-oriented, project management and operational skills; Excellent communicator, presentation, listening skills; Strong cross-cultural competencies, particularly in dealing with multiple stakeholders/constituencies; experience with MNC systems and processes; Strong people development and career planning skills; Experience in implementing projects locally; proven track record of driving global projects in a location or business; Good understanding of technology and the offshoring business goals; A high level understanding of how systems work Target Companies: Companies in the IT/Technology/BPO field in India, e.g.; Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Dell, Accenture, Cognizant, etc., or Pharma and diagnostics companies like Pfizer, Roche, GSB, MNC Banks, etc.
