Position: Product Availability Manager [PAM]

Role: Ensure Product is available to meet customer needs, fleet/ distribution contracts met supply chain demands, fleet/ warehouse assets are maintained to meet supply chain demands.

Profile: MBA (Operations) from a premier institute with a work experience of 2-4 years in Logistic Management.

Package: 8-12 Lakhs

Objectives:

1. VOLUME
To enable the Unit attain the volume objectives by influencing the following:
To improve the accuracy of the forecast
Continuous monitoring of the forecast process and accuracy
Identifying, territories, products and packs that have high forecast error and highlight and work with the relevant TDMs.
Including forecast accuracy discussion into the SIP Agenda.
To work towards eliminating stock outages through
Ensuring that the Network Analysis tool is run every trimester
Improving the stock availability by enhancing the Service Level in the unit
Glass Management
Purchase of new glass
Maintaince of existing glass
Exchange of glass

2. SHARE / LEADERSHIP
To enable the BU attain the leadership objective by supporting the following:
Ensuring focus in the SIP meets and forecast monitoring.
To coordinate with source plant and the BU Supply chain for SKUs that are produced outside their MU (Slice 500ml, LIT, Cans) and ensure adequate coverage across all units.
Ensuring that the glass is utilized effectively.
Ensuring Vehicle availability to be 100% so as to not lose sales volume (for direct routes).

3. PROFITABILITY
To enable the BU attain the profit objectives by implementing the following:
To ensure that the Unit freight costs do-not exceed the AOP budget.

Where Applicable only :
Fuel Efficiency to be monitored
To ensure that all freight agreements are in place and the SAP master data is correct.

Positively influencing the working capital and limit its deployment to less than 2004 level (despite price increases) through effective monitoring of inventories and ensuring they are as per the SAP norms.

4. PROCESS
To improve the organizational capability by implementing robust processes in the areas of:
MU SOP
Unit
To leverage the SAP ERP in the company by
Monitoring and tracking relevant reports and providing feedback to the Supply-chain functionaries in the Units.
Improving the transactional accuracy to enhance data integrity by ensuring all STOs, Sales orders, truck information is correctly updated and on-line.
