Gillette India is looking for Area Sales Managers as follows:
Scope: Commercial Operations
Reporting to: General Manager – Sales (at Divisional level)
Locations: Mumbai; Delhi; All India
The Role:
·Achieve Monthly/ Coverly Primary and Secondary Sales Target of the
area.
·Plan town wise coverage basis their population, profile, number of outlets, business potential
·Set, monitor & ensure Brand wise/ Town wise/Sales Rep wise distribution targets.
·Ensure high quality product displays in the market through sales representatives
·Through sales representatives, appoint, train, develop & retain
distributors and their representatives in the territory and ensure that their contribution to our business is as per targets
·Monitor constantly stock & sales of all distributors and take
corrective actions, if and as required.
·Forecast brand wise/ SKU wise sales as accurately as possible every month on rolling basis for three months so as to ensure optimum stocks at the Carrying & Forward Agents (CFAs).
Qualification:
·Postgraduate degree/ diploma in Sales & Marketing from a premier
Institute
·Experience of atleast 2 - 3 years in the Sales function. FMCG
experience will be preferred.
Competencies:
·Good communication skills with the ability to influence people and
manage a team of territory sales in-charge & distributors.
·Self starter
·Strong execution ability
·Ability to network
·High energy level
·PC skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SAP will be preferred.
