However, with the scaling up of the business, the organisation has for the FIRST time decided to hire a senior business focussed HR professional to head its HR function. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Align people to business. Build and strengthen the HR function. Set
up systems afresh. Identification, planning and arranging for
fulfillment of Skill Set / Competency requirements for various
positions in alignment with business strategy. Forecasting and
fulfilling manpower requirements in accordance to the business
plan / business strategy. Designing, managing, evaluating and
improving performance management systems and practices. Initiate and
promote team-building practices. Periodic analysis of team and
individual motivation and morale level and initiating improvement
measures. Designing and managing rewards and recognition systems,
including compensation and benefit policies. Drive culture-building
initiatives Initiate and promote systems that lead to creation of a
work environment that supports performance. To plan manpower,
motivate the team, develop leadership, build and upgrade
capabilities through development of people on a continuous basis. HIRING PROFILE: Post-graduate qualifications in HR. Work experience:
10- 12 years, some of it preferably in a progressive services
company, with a high quality intellectual workforce comprising of
knowledge workers. Must have exposure in all aspects of Human
Resource Management. The person should be `current' and
updated about HR practices. Must be able to deal with different personality types and in a dynamic environment. The individual must be able to continuously sell the concept of HR internally. He/she must display the maturity and sensitivity to handle colleagues and other business associates and work effectively in a matrix structure, with an aptitude for multitasking. Must have high levels of intellectual capability with equally high levels of energy and motivation.
Location: Mumbai (head office)/Delhi, if the candidate prefers
Delhi. Position will carry housing.
