Responsible for analysing & understanding the complexities of airline consumer behaviour.
Devising strategies for capturing additional revenue in domestic or international markets.
These strategies will be implemented through varying the supply of our "product".
Understand trends & anticipate fluctuations in market demand.
Identify revenue opportunities in assigned markets.
Conduct competitive appraisals.
Plan strategic inventory actions.
Assess impact of various promotional activities.
Provide input to the pricing and scheduling areas in devising system changes to capture additional revenue.
Interact with sales managers to track & optimally manage market activity.
Work towards setting up process within your team.
Configuring the RM system to implement optimum inventory control.
Eligibility :
MBA with min 2-3 yrs demonstrated work exp in pricing, inventory management, planning, marketing or sales function.
Knowledge of spreadsheets, database querying tools, MS Access.
Excellent written, oral & presentation skills.
Proficiency in analytic techniques & team management.
Operations research skills though not essential, will be an added advantage.
