A Leading MNC FMCG Giant is looking in for Unit Logistic Manager
based out of Pune -- Handling Rest of Maharatra & Goa.

Location, Region Pune


 Job Objectives (Purpose of the Job) :

To ensure timely and optimal cost servicing to the Internal
customers (Sales and Production).




 Essential Requirements :


Work Experience in years (Industry specific)

5 years preferably in the FMCG sector.

Business Knowledge :----------

Knowledge of the FMCG Business.
Specific Competencies/Skills
Required



Analytical Ability, Communicating effectively, Decision
Making, Enhancing and sustaining the performance of others, Exerting
personal influence, Planning and Organizing.
Language Proficiency

Oral and Written proficiency in English, Knowledge of Local
language will be an added advantage.

IT Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of MS Office.



Key Responsibilities:---------------------------

Level of Responsibility


1. Sales&OPerations Inventory - Initiate the Sales & OPerations
process, give inputs in the sales planning process and standardize
Sales forecasting, production planning, dispatch scheduling. To
maintain optimum Inventory levels, ensure stock availability at
depots and Finalize & track the production plans for Co-packs.


2. Cost Savings - Cost Savings through Freight, materials /
services being bought locally any other suggestions, Negotiate
locally purchased materials and ensure productivity improvements for
parameters set. To ensure fleet capacity utilization;identify
opportunities in transportation


3. Efficiency driving ? To ensure no expiry / write offs get
generated on account of Planning process.



4. Demand Servicing ? To ensure that there is no stockout and the
orders are executed by Shipping on time, warehouse systems &
management


5. Compliance & Reports - To ensure COA compliance, logistic PRS
and that all reports reach on time and to give a weekly status
update.


6. Training ? To ensure Gap analysis of each member of team and
work out specific training inputs to be given and carry out periodic
assessment of progress.




 Critical Challenges :

Glass planning, Volume servicing and Cost Management.



 Key Customers :

Internal

AGM, Plant Mgr., Production Mgr., Sales Mgr., Corporate
Commercial.

External
Suppliers, Transporters.
