AVP / VP - Business Planning & Financial Analysis

Our client is one of the biggest player in the Financial Industry across globe.

Position - AVP / VP - Business Planning & Financial Analysis.



At least 6-9 years experience in a Finance role.



Reporting to Business Head.



Location : Gurgoan



Responsibilities



• Prepare periodic financial forecasts) for the business , Drive budget / forecast process and ensure timely submission of financial reports , forecasts and business plan to HQ Finance.

• Prepare and contribute to the Long Range Plans for business by undertaking detailed & incisive financial analysis.

• Monitor / analyze business metrics / results on a monthly basis and highlight issues to the LFO.

• Conduct financial assessment of various investment initiatives and make recommendations to senior management. This work includes validation of financial / business assumptions and assessment of returns using NPV & ROI analysis.

• Actively drive improvements to the product/revenues/expenses of the market.

• Provide analytical and financial support for various business decisions and initiatives – eg new product / service development, pricing changes, con-brand and partnership deals.

• Closely monitor the financial performance and provide high quality support to all LOB heads and Country Manager by upstream analysis of key business indicators.

• Proactively support all re-engineering for growth and business transformation opportunities

• Proactively track macro-economic, industry, competitive activities and alert the LFO/CET as necessary.

• Prepare ad hoc analyses as requested by the business.

• Support the LFO in preparing presentation material during senior management visits to the market.



Required Qualifications





Ø MBA or equivalent accounting qualification.





Ø Strong technical skills in developing financial models and investment analysis.

Ø Has strategic thinking and creativity to resolve business and financial issues.

Ø Ability to work on multiple tasks under pressure.

Ø Knowledge of accounting processes and systems (TM1, COGNOS, MIS World)

Ø Forecasting and planning experience a plus.

Ø Strong communication & presentation skills (written and verbal)
