A leading banking sector at Muscat requires

1) Manager-Portfolio Advisory & Structuring for their Asset Management division
a.. Build portfolios of mutual funds, hedge funds and other investments based on risk return parameters.
b.. Review of offer documents of funds and other investments.
c.. Create spreadsheets and other documents that effectively communicate key investment positions and risks to investors.
d.. Prepare offer documents for the funds to be launched and obtain necessary regulatory approvals
e.. Provide regular updates to investors on the performance of the portfolios / the mutual funds.
a.. Around 6 years of specific experience in management of investments across asset class in global markets. Experience in working in portfolio advisory role with private banks would be an advantage.
b.. Age 28 and above
a.. Must have a good understanding of portfolio and risk management techniques.
b.. He should have a Professional degree in investment management, finance or accounting
2) Senior Dealer – Derivatives Structuring for Treasury & Capital Market

1. Should independently analyze the global trends and
develop structured strategies / products especially currency options and Interest Rate Swaps for proposing to clients.

2. Should do market making and pricing / trading interest
rate and currency derivatives including vanilla options.

3. To further strengthen the existing treasury derivative
relationships with bank’s counterparties in addition to expanding the list further.

§ M.B.A. – Finance or MSc Finance / Mathematics.

§ Strong knowledge of all treasury derivative products
and day to day activities of a full-fledged treasury is must.

§ Proficiency in using financial software/models related
to derivative structuring or financial engineering would be an added advantage.

§ Post-qualification experience of not less than 6 years
in a similar role in well established treasuries of banks is MUST.
