Position Description / Designation :BIO- Business Information Officer (Various Business/ Functions)
Report’s to : Business/Function Head
Reportees: Heads of - IT Infrastructure, Applications Management, Business
Solutions, Applications Development.
Job Role / KRA’s / Deliverables:
(A) The Role
1. Defining the Business Information (Data) requirements.
2. Continuous re-engineering of Business processes.
3. Briefing the Infosolutions Rep/Project manager on the automation processes required.
4. Participate in the development of the system.
(B) 1. Make out an Annual Operating Plan in line with the Business Plan.
2. CAPEX & OPEX.
3. Supervise, direct and guide the Operating team reporting to him w.r.t
· Laying down SLA’s
· Compliance
· Data Integrity, backups etc.
Education / Professional Qualifications:Musts: MBA / BE / Industrial Engineer
Work Experience (Details):
The Person:
· Need not be a typical IT Professional, but
· Needs to have a deep understanding of IT as a tool.
· A Management Graduate/Industrial Engineer with a thorough understanding of business.
· Should have had similar experience of having driven development of IT system
Years of Experience : 12 – 20 years
Age Group : 35 – 45 years
Preferred Sources:
· Consultants servicing clients in the following Businesses/Functions
Chemicals /Energy /Manufacturing/Oil and Gas/SCM/Treasury/HR etc.
· Working as BIO/CIO in large, multi-location, multi-product business.
· From an IT Company, working in client Servicing /Programme Management but NOT a single function head (familiar with multiple systems)
