Retail - Delivery Centre Head-Hyderabad

Cucumber Consultants is one of the leading Placement Firms based at
Hyderabad.
We are looking to fill the following key positions for our client,
one of the largest industrial groups in the country that is planning
to make a huge foray into Retailing.


1) DC Head - 1 No.
Job Profile:
· To prepare annual distribution plan and provide inputs regarding
volume (throughput), opex, capex etc for overall F&V budget.
· To plan capacity building in distribution in terms of adding
fleet of vehicles for both primary and second leg transportation
· Benchmarking critical parameters and putting a scientific
mechanism for evaluation.
· To prepare a repository of transporters both reefer and dry with
profile.
· Devise system of indenting for both stock transfer and sales to
different terminals and outlets.
· To access online data on status of the inventory
· Put in place system of prompt transfer of material.
· Evolve the in-transit quality parameters in coordination with
QA and monitor the same.
· To review the budget and analyze variance periodically and take
midcourse correction
· Put in a place a feedback mechanism
· To monitor & review the performance of the entire team.
· Responsible for the sales volume increase within the city.
· To avoid delays caused through distribution.
· To minimize cost & increase profits.
· Managing quality and price risk
· To formulate pricing and promotion strategy for maximizing
sales.
· To generate investment for innovation on delivery through better
management of processing capabilities and packaging.
· Liaison with key government officials and taking care of
regulatory authorities.
· Handling international marketing operation.
· Structure deals with the government.

Educational Qualification

· MBA (Marketing /Operations) with 15 -20 years of exp.
