HR Position at Aviva India - Gurgaon

Context: The role-holder will work closely with the Manager - Human Resources to develop and implement people strategies for the Company and IT enable various processes and systems.

Main Priorities:
To consolidate the manpower plans for the organization and requisite recruitment strategies.
To monitor implementation of the plans on an on-going basis vis-a-vis quality of hires and lead time in closing open positions.
To explore and strengthen various channels of recruitment such as the employee referral program, internet, print, resourcing partners and technology
Enable the process to facilitate effective tracking of resumes.
To create a market intelligence database, to benchmark our strategy vis a vis key players in the market.
To implement and strengthen the induction process and facilitate the orientation of people joining the organization across all locations and allocate ‘Buddies’ to all new hires.
To support all resourcing activities related to Oracle HRMS implementation and ensure intelligent database management through the system.
To assist the HR team in developing and implementing new initiatives and projects in the areas of Resourcing and Compensation and Benefits.

Dimensions: The role-holder will have full day to day responsibility for implementing the recruitment and orientation plan.

Key Outputs:
Hire quality candidates at minimal lead times·
Robust induction program, implemented across locations.

Timely delivery vis a vis manpower plans
Quality of deliverables.
Sensitivity to the external environment to facilitate benchmarking. Success of various initiatives within predefined quality parameters. Customer Centricity.

Relationships:
Internal: Associate Director HR/ HR Team/ Function Heads/ Other employees of the Company
External: HR Consultants/ Vendors and service providers

Qualifications: A high caliber Management Graduate from a premier institute with a specialization in Human Resources.

Skills/Knowledge:
Hands on knowledge of HR processes and systems in various organizations
Additional exposure to Oracle HRMS or any other HR ERP will be beneficial
Skills in planning and delivering initiatives which improve business results in a demanding environment
Strong influencing skills
Good communication and networking skills

Experience:
Must have 2 – 3 years proven experience in contributing to the design and development of HR systems and processes.
Exposure to recruitment at various levels.
Experience of working in a fast moving environment with a strong focus on delivery
