Major responsibilities

As a financial accountant you will
·produce financial statements that comply with legal norms and
internal directives.
·draw up analyses of closing statements.
·carry out quality control of the balance and off-balance sheets, and analyze processes and workflows.
·assume a specialist function by providing, for example, well-researched and specialized information for making changes to account
charts.
·draw up reports for the Swiss National Bank.
·prepare data and provide information for auditors.
·perform inter-company reconciliations and draw up accounting reports.
·monitor VAT matters and manage US GAAP adjustments and disclosures (GAAP = Generally Accepted Accounting Principle).
·Work with banking platform Globus

Requirements
·An ability to think analytically and a flair for numbers
·Service orientation, because you will be offering advice internally as specialist
·Assertiveness, because you will ensure that closing statements comply with norms and directives
·Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results when producing the monthly, quarterly and half-yearly closing statements
·In-depth knowledge of banking processes and booking mechanism
·Strong interpersonal and communication skills, because you will be working with internal units to make changes to account charts
