METRO Cash & Carry, one of the largest Wholesale Distribution companies in the world, launched its operations in India in Bangalore last year. The company is part of METRO Group, which is headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany and operates in 26 countries worldwide.
For its Head Office in Bangalore, there is a requirement for a Manager – Human Resources.
The selected candidate would report to the Head of Human Resources and would be responsible for:
•the HR function for all employees of the Head Office (nearly 200 in number) and would include activities such as Staffing, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Training & Development.
•providing guidance to the HR Managers of the Distribution Centers with regard to HR activities in their respective locations.
•formulation and enforcement of all HR policies across the organization.
•assisting in strategic developmental initiatives across the organization.
•ensuring compliance of all statutory & legal requirements for the
organization.
The candidate should have proven competencies in the following:

2.Leadership
3.Social skills
4.Result orientation
5.Market & customer orientation
6.Ability to bring about change
The ideal candidate would be a post-graduate in HR from a leading University/ Institute with around 5 to 7 years of experience preferably in a distribution/ manufacturing industry.
