POSITION Chief Manager / DGM - Business HR

LOCATION Bangalore

REPORTEES Assistant Manager - HR & Manager - HR

RELATIONSHIPS General Manager - HR

Responsibilities:
*Initiate and Champion Mentoring Program to make Line Managers effective
HR Managers.
*Career path counseling and facilitation of resolution of all HR Issues
and concerns at both individual and team levels.
*Understand and practice the organization compensation policies and
benefits in its true entail in ensuring parity and right pay across
levels.
*Ensure acculturization process is done effectively and integration of
new employees into the organization is done in the spirit of
Organization Philosophy.
*Implement policies and process defined at the organizational level and
also actively participate in contributing to improvements to policies
and process on an ongoing basis.
*Keep track of the pulse of Human Resources in the organization and
ensure the escalations of issues proactively to the appropriate levels
towards resolutions.
*Work with EDC/UNIT Head, in chalking out employee retentions,
development and culture building strategies, action plans and
implementation within agreed timelines.
*Work with training in implementing right behavioral clinics for
different level of management as a conscious step towards Organization
Development.
*Work hands on with EDC/UNIT Head in understanding specific Manager
Level issues hands on.
*Support and be active through conscious steps through voluntary
interest groups, referral programs, off sites etc., build bonding and
pride.
*Implement HR Initiatives / HR Calendar on periodic basis to highlight
HR Issues and its resolution.
*Report periodically HR concerns, metrics and dashboard of all critical
success factors to determine HR Health at Unit Level.
*Maintain cordial and professional relationship in Client HR towards
sharing and resolving common issues and concerns.
*Create robust internal communication mechanism to foster a culture
transparency, trust and mutual respect.
*Champion knowledge sharing and brown bag movements in the unit and
organization.

Specifications / Competencies:
* Education: MBA / MSW from a Premier Institute.
* Functional: Hand's on experience in progressive HR Practices,
ability to work with individuals at all levels and drive for high-level
initiatives and results.
* Experience: 7 to 10 years.
* Behavior: Matured, Balanced, Perseverance, Open Mindedness to
accept and lead change.
* Managerial: Strong leadership skills, high level communication
and presentation skills, counseling and team building capabilities,
ability to think and provide direction and objective
decision making ability.
