Job Title: AVP - Quantitative Research

Job Description: The candidate will oversee the research for all quantitative New Product Development (NPD), research for several FMCG categories, and will head a team of 5-6 researchers. Close working with the client's marketing team in identifying need for research. Working out appropriate research designs. Supervising questionnaire design; analysis; reporting. Making presentations. Drawing on multiple researches to gain deeper insights into the different categories. Leveraging different inputs from all of the company’s units as well as the parent to give the best possible research solutions to the client. The projects will include, among others, Product Tests, Packaging Tests; Market Understanding: STMs; Pricing Research; Ad Pre Tests; Tracking Research. The research team will have the support of a 20-man Analysis/DP team, statistics experts, and in addition, are provided with the state-of-the-art enquiry package, with which they can conduct all possible analyses along with the latest version of SPSS. To motivate the team, develop leadership, build and upgrade capabilities through development of people on a continuous basis.

Candidate Profile: The incumbent should have post-graduate qualifications in business management from a leading MBA school. Should have at least 7 years experience in QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH in a leading agency or at a client. The candidate has to be an excellent researcher, with ability to lead and motivate a team to provide the highest quality of research - he/she needs to be passionate about solving client's marketing problems and coming up with insightful and marketing oriented analysis. Proactive proactive client servicing skills are essential as the client is a highly research savvy organization. Experience in NPD research programme of a large FMCG company would be an advantage; as would be exposure to Millward Brown researches: Link AD Test; Advanced Tracking Programme; Brand Dynamics.
