Supply Chain Application Project Leader — Asia Pacific Region / Information Systems

Main Purpose
The Supply Chain Application Project Leader leads, plans and implements ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) projects — working closely with business teams, IT competencies teams, IT operations team to provide IT-enabled supply chain
solutions and enable the transformation of supply chain in DuPont. The Project Leader also work closely with business units in India to drive application strategies and implement plans to move business units to future state of a common ERP solution.
Major Accountabilities:
1.Lead, manage, plan and implement solutions and services for ERP projects in the Asia Pacific region: Develop and manage project scope, budgets, plans and schedules to achieve milestones and deliverables
Participate in project discussions to understand business requirements and actively
drive appropriate, timely, innovative and cost effective solutions which meet
business needs
Define the system performance criteria and manage verification process to test that the solution meets these criteria
2. Manage the project team:
Define roles and responsibilities, team organization and structure and staffing requirements
Develop and implement process for team decision-making, cross-business / cross-functions interactions and issue resolutions
3.Manage the project in a way that ensure integration, alignment, standardization and compliance:
Act as Supply Chain – IT integrator, working closely with "horizontal" work-streams to ensure integration and global & regional alignment
Accountable for data architecture, standardization and data conversion, etc.
Ensure implementation of DuPont security guidelines, SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance as well as other DuPont mandated and regulatory requirements
Ensure that 6-Sigma standards and practices are followed for projects undertaken and continuous improvement in IT solutions to the business and functions
4. Be the focal connection to the corporate DSAP organization for all supply chain process areas
5. Manage stakeholders – communicating regularly with project sponsors, business
leadership, business operations teams – providing up-to-date information on the project status, identifying key challenges and issues, recommending courses of action and enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Qualifications
1.Having the following will be a distinct advantage:
A strong discipline in either Sales & Distribution, Requisition To Payment and/or Business Planning
Understanding and experiences in materials management flow
A degree in Information Technology
2.Demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of integrated ERP applications and how they support business processes – in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and finance.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing ERP systems as a project leader or work-stream leader with usage within the business processes and disciplines
4. Working experiences in ERP transactional system, with configuration background and knowledge in SAP R/3 or similar Tier 1 ERP application
5. Project management experience in planning, scheduling, executing including tools and methodology is essential
6. Proven customer focus orientation with success in working across a multi-cultural region
