At the moment we have an interesting opening in Equity Research with one of the biggest players in Investment Banking across the globe, setting up base in India and building a very strong equity research team that will follow global equities and cater exclusively to institutional investors in the US.



They offer long term Wall Street career opportunities for their analysts. Their analysts will cover equities on THEIR OWN. They DO NOT report to another analyst in the US. They will do their own research, come up with their own opinions on the stock and offer them directly to US institutional investors. Successful analysts will have the exact same career opportunities that a successful Wall Street analyst might have - increase the size and scope of their research coverage, move to the buy-side, get involved in other business opportunities within.

Analyst- Job Description

The analyst's main duties will include:

* Publish and communicate investment thesis to the sales force and institutional clients.

* Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative evaluation of specific companies within the industries, utilizing data retrieved from literature and product reviews, on-site company visits, interviews with senior company managers, and surveys.

* Develop and test investment thesis, identify trends, and explain their implications for the firm's research universe.

ualifications /Experience
Academic Requirements

* MBA degree from a top 5 institution only.

* Excellent academic record (Please include undergraduate as well as graduate results)



Prior Work Experience

* 5+ years experience as an Equity/Fixed Income Research or Investment Banking Analyst preferred.

* Domain experience in Biotechnology, IT services and Internet and Media verticals.





Technical skills

* Must have a fundamental understanding of industry trends with the ability to apply new ideas.

* Proven ability to analyze complex investment concepts, develop investment theories and communicate ideas effectively.

* Strong research, writing, data analysis and collaborative skills.



Other skills

* Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to work in a team environment.

* Must be a resourceful, self-motivated, independent thinker.

* Familiarity with basic data analysis tools (FactSet, Baseline, Bridge).

* Close attention to detail and accuracy and ability to deliver output of a very high standard

* Willingness to work flexible timings
