Credit & Risk opening in MNC Bank

At the moment we have an exciting opening with one of the leading MNC Corporate Banks. They are looking for AVP ( Team Leader) -Credit and Risk

Grade - AVP

Experience - 3-6 Yrs

Qualification - CAs ( First attempt only), MBA 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 Batchers.

Location - Delhi

POSITION OBJECTIVE

* Responsible for risk analysis of Bank's Corporate and Financial
Institutions clients, including relationships of Bank's offshore locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluation of the financial performance of the clients in the
(associate's) portfolio, through analysis of balance sheet / financial ratios, industry position, economic conditions etc. Evolving a "risk centric" view of each client in the portfolio.

Will be leading a team of Analysts.....

* Responsible for accuracy of internal risk ratings and ongoing
tracking of credit quality, with the objectives of improving the credit quality and return on capital of the portfolio managed by the associate and facilitating effective portfolio management actions.
* Participate in the decision process to commit the bank's
resources and prepare / sign Credit Approval Memorandums. Enhance/manage credit commitments in line with the bank's business needs & objectives.
* Recommend credit facilities within designated limits after
ensuring that they are consistent with the underlying risk trends, adhere to the bank's credit policy guidelines, comply with (internal /
external) regulations and are appropriately priced and structured.
* Work closely with other business groups to handle financing
needs for the clients consistent with business plans and bank's risk appetite and policies.
* Work with experienced Portfolio Managers to evaluate risk and
monitor an industry portfolio.
* Support Hiring Manager in activities such as hiring,
on-boarding, training of new associates into the group. Review work undertaken by junior analysts in order to ensure quality and timelines of analytical work, solicit feedback from business partners and effectively communicate the same to analysts. Provide inputs to Hiring
Manager to facilitate effective performance evaluation of analysts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

MBA / CA with approx. 3-6 years of experience in Corporate
Bank/Credit Analysis function, preferably in a Bank/Financial
Institution/Credit Rating Agency.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

* Good knowledge of financial, risk and corporate finance centric
analysis Corporate and FI entities.
* Thorough knowledge of all aspects of loan/credit structuring and
commercial banking.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.

Demonstrate significant teamworking skills, since the job will involve interaction with associates across diverse cultural backgrounds
