Title: Manager – Marketing Analytics
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
This position is supposed to manage analytical consultancy projects in Risk Analytics/Marketing Analytics / Web analytics and will have a team of Statisticians, Business Analyst, and IT professionals reporting directly to him / her. This position is based out of Ugam Solutions in Mumbai, India.
The primary focus will be on providing cutting edge actionable analytical solutions/consultancy to the domestic and international clients. He will lead the team of 4-5 people and responsible for the end to end execution of analytical consultancy projects, motivating and retaining the team. Guide the sales team to prepare power-point pitches for pre-sales and consulting; produce effective and
competitive materials for client prospect proposals, presentations, RFPs and other new business opportunities. The person will be responsible for conceiving, developing and managing the execution of Analytical projects. The person in this position should be able to understand and translate complex business problems into analytical
problems, drive the analysis process and finally convert the data- driven insights into executable business strategies / solutions.
Exposure to analytical consultancy, analytical techniques, prior experience on SAS software and best practices would be an added advantage. Exposure to Data Mining tools would be preferred, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Clear Communication with Client, Manage Client expectations and Plan Project timelines
Provide Analytical Solutions to the client through detailed drill down analysis of key business initiatives, interpreting results, and making strategy recommendations through the use of various analytic tools. Analytical ability to delve into detail and solve problems, but also have an interest in understanding the broader business
perspective.
Help and guide the team in Identifying new analytical opportunities and convert them into business strategies with bottom line impact.
Collaborate in developing strategies and developing methods and models for analyzing, mining, and reporting on customer data.
Identify key customer characteristics to enhance customer profiles for analysis.
Carry out Annual Resource Planning, Hiring and Training
Work closely with Client Team to execute project
Lead, help and guide the team in day-to-day analyses to meet the business goals.
Introduce new processes, methods, best practices to streamline the work flow and improve team productivity
Qualification:
Graduate/ Postgraduate degree from a top tier academic institution in Business Management, Finance, Physics , Statistics, Economics (Econometrics), Mathematics, Operations Research or Bachelor's degree in a Engineering is a must (Preferable from IIT's/top tier engineering Institute) or PhD's in above fields from reputed institute
Work Experience:
Experience of using analytics across a range of industries / subject areas will be added advantage.
5-7 years experience in Consulting/ Marketing / Direct Marketing /Retail Services / Auto Finance / Consumer Lending / CRM / IT / ITES / Market Research / BPO / Telecom / eCommerce / Banking / Credit Card / other
Familiarity with databases, analytical software will be added advantage

Title: Assistant Manager – Marketing Analytics
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
Strong background in statistics, quantitative analysis, and applied microeconomics with demonstrated ability to effectively apply statistical techniques to business problem. Good knowledge and understanding of modeling process, data, and platform with ability to efficiently evaluate the data sources and prepare the data for modeling process. Should have handled predictive modeling in a large database environment. Good team player with ability to effectively collaborate with others. Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills Advanced degree in economics/statistics with minimum 2- 3 years working experience in modeling and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Build statistical/analytical models
Proactively plan the data management activities needed for conducting modeling process
Perform in-depth model reviews and prepare documentation
Conduct data profiling and provide business insights
Ensure adherence to business process/modeling compliance by business analyst and programmer
Supervise and conduct quality checks on the work conducted by business analyst and programmer
Train the business analyst and programmer on SAS skills and prepare training material for the team
Search business reports and relevant information to help Manger in preparing RFP.
Interact with client as and when needed
Set timelines and provide status report
Qualification:
Graduate/ Postgraduate degree from a top tier academic institution in Business Management, Finance, Physics , Statistics, Economics (Econometrics), Mathematics, Operations Research or Bachelor's degree in a Engineering is a must (Preferable from IIT's/top tier engineering Institute) or PhD's in above fields from reputed institute.
Work Experience:
Must have SAS programming experience for at least two years
Should have exposure to work with SPSS, CART, CHAID (Knowledge Seeker) software.
SQL knowledge will be an added advantage
Exposure to various platforms like UNIX, Mainframe Systems will be an added advantage
Experience with programming languages (for example, C/C++, VBA) is a plus
Title: Business Analyst – Marketing Analytics
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
Strong background in statistics, quantitative analysis, and applied microeconomics with thorough knowledge of statistical techniques. Should know bi-variate, multivariate and advanced statistical techniques. Good team player with ability to effectively collaborate with others. Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills Advanced degree in economics / statistics will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Build statistical / analytical models as instructed by senior business analyst.
Prepare documentation for model building process
Conduct data profiling as instructed
Adhere to business process / modeling compliance
Conduct quality checks and avoid mistakes
