Morgan Stanley Advantage Services (MSAS), incorporated in September 2003 is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, a leading global investment bank (www.morganstanley.com). MSAS' mission is to provide analytical and value added support to Morgan Stanley's various divisions. At present, MSAS supports the following divisions from its Global Knowledge Centre, in Mumbai: Equity Research, Fixed Income, Institutional Equity, Investment Banking, Equity Financing Services and Business Information Services.

Job Profile :
The MSAS Associate would be involved in providing valuation analytics support to specific Morgan Stanley approved clients. The associate would provide support in stock research, business analysis, financial modeling, investment analysis, portfolio
management etc.

Responsibilities :
Interface with Morgan Stanley clients and support them in analyzing companies across the globe thus aiding their portfolio management process
Tracking developments in particular sectors on a regular basis
Identify key drivers and create industry specific models
Maintain industry databases and update them on a regular basis
Create, maintain and update company models periodically
Track developments in world markets that could impact investment decision process

Requirements :
MBA / Masters Degree in Finance, Investments, Accounting (IIMs or top business schools) / CA / CFA with 2 - 5 years of relevant post qualification experience
Strong business analysis, analytical and valuation skills
Financial modeling skills with a keen interest in financial markets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Domain expertise in Banking / Financial services or in Basic Materials would be preferred
Understanding of data bases viz. Bloomberg, Factset etc. will be an added advantage
