Insurance - Operations - Mumbai

Our client, a Life Insurance Company, is looking out for a person in the operations team. Please find the details mentioned below:

Designation: Sr Manager - New Business
Division: Operations - (Strategic Initiative)
Location: Mumbai

·Monitors performance of the New Business and Group Insurance section and outsourced service provider with respect to standards of accuracy, timelines and productivity and take corrective actions.
·Develops the service pledge and performance standards of the team to meet business and customer needs.
·Implement procedures, processes and projects for process streamlining of operations and service improvement initiatives.
·Will be working closely with the Distribution, Finance & Accounting, Underwriting, Marketing, Information Technology team

Skillset / Qualification:

MBA with 10 years in Customer Service with good knowledge of insurance industry out of which 4 years are at managerial level.
·Competent knowledge of customer service functions
·Exposure to outsourcing guidelines and processes
·Basic knowledge of law and compliance issues
·Should be well versed with insurance principles and terminology, products and pricing financial underwriting, philosophy, guidelines and requirements, insurance policies and procedures
·Understanding of IT systems for process streamlining and service improvements.
