VP Recruitment - Mumbai - Financial Services

COMPANY PROFILE:

A leading financial services company, with a countrywide presence
and with a fast rate of growth, with around 2500 employees, and an
envied track record of innovation, recognised internationally, based
on strong fundamentals, which has led to tremendous success in the
marketplace. Looking for a VP of Recruitment, to be based in Mumbai,
reporting to the Director of HR.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for formulating and executing the recruitment strategy
of the company, across all levels and ensuring the timely on
boarding of the right talent into the right roles within the quality
and budgetary framework. Defining the recruitment strategy of the
organization in alignment with overall business objectives. Drive
guidance and approvals on recruitment related activities such as
manpower planning, sourcing, empanelling of vendors, managing costs
and budgets, employee referral program, MT program. Liaise with all
heads of businesses for all activities related to recruitment in
that business. Ensuring adequate participation and support of the
business in all recruitment efforts. Timely finalization of
recruitment plans. Internal and external branding of recruitment
initiatives (Referral programs, advertisements).Evaluation of
vendors, negotiation of rates with selected vendors and monitoring
execution of the commissioned project/s. Ensure the alignment of the
recruitment teams efforts towards the correct open demand.
Introduce scientific methods of candidate assessment. Ensure e- enablement of the recruitment process through customized
applications. Lead a team of around 10.

HIRING PROFILE:

Qualified HR professional with 9-11 years, with deep knowledge and
exposure to recruitment practices in a dynamic fast growing services
industry such as financial services, ITeS, retail, telecom, media,
consulting. Experience in financial services industry preferred.
Should be capable of driving recruitment strategies for all levels.
Must have strategic and negotiation skills. Commitment to
operational excellence. Must be entrepreneurial, hands on and
possess a proactive approach. High energy, along with excellent
